Nubank overtook BB (Banco do Brasil) in number of banking customers. The digital bank registered 77.7 million consumers with accounts in 2Q 2023. It increased 4.4 million in 3 months.
The BC (Central Bank) released the data in the Ranking of Complaints of the 2nd quarter of the year. Nubank now ranks 4th among banks with the most customers in Brazil, behind only Caixa Econômica Federal (150.4 million), Bradesco (104.5 million) and Itaú (99.9 million).
Nubank surpassed Santander Brazil in number of customers in the third quarter of 2022 and became the bank with the fifth largest number of customers at that time. Now, the gap with Itaú is 22.2 million customers.
