Credz, a retail fintech company, raised funds through the issue of the 7th series of its Credit Rights Investment Fund (FIDC), in the total amount of R$400 million. The resources, according to the company, are intended to back investments for the growth and national expansion of operations, as well as for the conquest of new retail partners and maintenance of investments in technological, financial and marketing innovations.
This funding is part of Credz's credit portfolio financing program, and is the 7th operation in the same format. The fintech received proposals for allocation in a volume more than 3 times higher than that offered in senior quotas, that is, it received R$ 1.1 billion in proposals for R$ 300 million in senior quota offerings. Besides this funding, Credz raised more than R$350 million in the same period in financing operations with the banks Credit Suisse and Modal.
The fintech operates in a market that grows at double-digit rates annually and operates with a product that brings retail solutions to the majority of the population, through a complete, digital, and international card co-branded with VISA, which also has a free digital account with PIX, generating financial, social, and technological inclusion.
Customers have access to discounts in the marketplace of offers, through the Fidelity program that converts points into discounts in retailers' stores and in pharmacies all over Brazil. In addition, it is possible to purchase various types of insurance for different day-to-day emergencies in categories such as personal, home, car and motorcycle, health, and pet.
